Infinity
Architecture
"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination."
- Rod Serling
Inspired by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and her use of infinity mirrors, this conceptual stairwell aims to play with people's senses by creating the illusion of stairing into infinity - thus creating a vast and timeless space in an otherwise small and unimaginative courtyard, merely used to transition between two floors.
